Umbra Surface
The series of oil paintings reflects my ongoing study of the physicality of water – examining shapes, formations and exploring how water moves and sculpts what we see on the skin of the ocean. This series expresses the duality of the ocean, such as the way the surface can be both transparent and reflective - echoing life below the surface and above in the sky.
